Yesterday Louie, Rachel and I all went to Ceramica. It was a cold, rainy day so we were limited to what we were able to do. First we went out to breakfast at Dennys and then decided that it was time for something fun, so after taking a short break at home we all loaded up and headed over to paint some pottery. Rachel made a super cute little unicorn box, Louie made a set of coasters, and I made a set of measuring cups AND a plate. See- louie and Rachel had some things they had to take care of over at Rachel's grandparents house, SO while they were off doing that I finished my cups and made a plate. =)
Here are the fruits of our labor:

Sno-Cones
We LOVE sno-cones...I mean love them. There is a little place that sells them pretty close to our house so we are there quite frequently. Anyways, they opened up for the season a few weeks ago and of course we had to stop in ASAP! Here are some pics of the first sno-cone of the year! :)

Bella's Kindergarten graduation
Bella graduated from kindergarten at the end of May, May 18th to be exact was the date. It was super cute. I wasn't able to make it unfortunately because I had to work and they did it in the middle of the day at 11 am...stupid right?!?! Anyways, Jason was able to go and fortunately he sent me a few pictures to share!
Bella is holding the "N"- she was super excited about that! |

California: Medieval Times
Medieval Times is a dinner theater where they transport you into the magical world of the medieval era- horses, kings and princesses, barbaric eating, jousting, and all sorts of debauchery. It was a blast. They divided the audience into 6 different sections and you are each assigned a color- that color represents the color of your knight, and also the color of your arch enemy. We were green and our enemy was red. The knights perform a bunch of skill test type acts while you eat- with your hands...only, tomato soup, bread, chicken, ribs, potatoes and an apple danish for dessert. I had been twice before, once when I was like 7, in Texas and then once when I was 14 in Florida, but Louis had never been, even though he lived less than 5 minutes from one for years. We both had a fantastic time and will make sure to visit again.

Mother's Day with Bella
Bella had a Mothers Day tea party at her school. Luckily I was able to go- I had to pull in some favors at work, but it all worked out. It was so cute. She was so excited to get to do her little presentation and stuff. It melts your heart.

Caramel Corn/Balls
I got this recipe from a lady at work named Shirley. It seriously makes the best caramel corn/popcorn balls. Enjoy!
3/4 c sugar
3/4 c brown sugar
1/2 c light corn syrup
1/2 c water
1 tsp white vinegar
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 c butter
Combine all ingredients except butter in medium saucepan.
Heat to boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Cook to 260 degrees on candy thermometer, or until a small drop in cold water forms a hard ball.
Reduce heat, add butter and stir until melted.
Pour sauce over 3 bags of popped popcorn, Shirley uses Orville Redenbauchers Movie Time Popcorn.
Stir and serve, or form into balls.
