4th of July

We had fun on the 4th of July even though it was pretty relaxed and laid back. We started the day off by heading downtown and posting up to watch the Liberty Day Parade. It was fun. I hadn't been to a parade in years and neither had Louis, if ever. The girls go to the holiday one with my parents sometimes whenever that is...it's cold out though so I NEVER go. After the parade we dropped the girls off at my parent's house and went home to take a nap for a little while. Louis was sick sick SICK. So after our nap, we went and stopped at Freddys, got some fireworks, and head back to my moms house. We grilled some steaks and had all sorts of grub and then it was time to light the fireworks. We didn't buy a ton- Louis wanted to buy quite the package, but I had to talk him downto just the 30$ package...it was more than enough. After fireworks we headed back home and the girls met with a friend from the neighborhood and set up shop on the street corner. They sat outside watching teh fireworks until 11:00 or so at night. They had prime seats. We could see Boise, Meridian's and all the other people in the area lighting ofvf illegal fireworks...it was great. We hope you all had a safe and happy holiday!
