Pumpkin Patch
We took our annual trip through the pumpkin patch the other day. It's one of my favorite things to do in the fall. It's easy to find a nice warm day with all the pretty fall colors to hang out in. There are two pumpkin patches in Boise- Farmstead and Linder Farms. We have been to both, and really they just about even out in the end. The Farmstead is basically double the price to get in, but is pretty much all inclusive, where as Linder Farms is only 4$ to get in, but everything else is pretty much a paid for thing by tokens you purchase when you pay the entrance fee. So, we headed out on Thursday and had some fun!!

Painting Pumpkins
We went to the store and each of the girls picked out their own pumpkins and paint and glitter, and we headed home for them to paint those puppies up! We didn't want them to get their clothes dirty so we got ghetto fab and put trash bags over them. Worked like a charm. Anyways, they had a ton of fun. It was nice to do something a little early this year, so the painting was the way to go, but we will carve once it gets a little closer to Halloween. Unfortunately those carved pumpkins just don't stay good for much more than a night or two, so we save those for closer to Halloween. :)
