Some pictures from the last little bit here. Im slacking so bad on this....I've lost my mojo for it unfortunately. Im trying to get it back.
So, as many of you know, Mazzy ate a bottle of Advil. She literally almost died. She spent three days in the hospital with IV fluids and medications, etc etc. This is one of our parental visits during her first overnight stay.
This is when we first got her home.
The day after we got her home was her birthday. She got quite a few of her favorite things. She loves 'hogs' as we call them at our house, rawhide, pig ears and a big ole' bone and a couple of bags of treats. |
Zoe was in herm usical program at school. Of course, she insisted on getting a new dress, of which the white was quickly destroyed! |
I was one of the too few parent volunteers that went on Bella's school field trip to the Botanical Gardens. |
I got my sweet lover a new Coach wallet. His second in six months....a brown one and a black one...now he cant say anything about MY purse addiction |
Zoe was mad I didn't buy her a bag of chips at the store. Even though she chose a doughnut...she wasn't pleased |
Zoe made me a special mother's day breakfast :) |
all my mothers day goodies. |
apparently Mazzy didn't learn from her advil experience. Very soon after she was back up on her feet, she ate six frozen organic chicken breasts off the kitchen counter...and then I was going to make homemade mac and cheese....but she got to the noodles before I did....notice her in her kennel in the background....she grounded herself before I could even get to her... |
once again, I was a parent volunteer on Bella's class field trip. This time to the foothills learning center. |
my BP is always disgustingly low. This is after a 20 oz double latte with double the hazelnut syrup, a huge coke and a plate of cheese enchiladas. Earlier in the day it was like 90/58 |
Zoe joined gymnastics. She was stoked about her new little outfit |
Zoe chose to go to the aquarium on her alone day with Louis and I |
Took the girls to the dentist for their biannual cleaning and check up. Still NO CAVITIES for either of them. We went ahead and bought two pediatric sonic care toothbrushes just to ensure they kept up their awesome oral hygiene. Way to go girls!! We also talked about a referral for getting Bella in to an orthodontist. Apparently it is time to start thinking about braces for her.....so soon! |
We had my works annual summer party at Wahooz. All the girls always have a blast. Unfortunately all the pictures of Bella and Zoe are on Louie's phone. |
At the Longfellow school carnival they had abooth set up with two tattoo artists that were doing sharpie tattoos on all the kiddos. They were real tattoo artists and some of their free hand work with sharpies on squirming 7 years olds way amazing. Zo, of course, got a dolphin. It was the most popular booth at the carnival! |
then she had to put a temporary tattoo on her neck...like mother like daughter I suppose..!! :) |
Zoe insisted on getting the side of her head shaved. I begged and pleaded not to. She insisted. I told her she wouldn't like it and she would regret it and she insisted she wouldn't. Finally I gave in and took her to the mall to get it done. |
At first it was alright. |
by the time we got to the car...she hated it. Needless to say it looks pretty darn cute. She loves it now, but I don't think she will do it again. Maybe next time I beg her not to do something like that, she will listen! |
the girls and I had to go to big als to pick up the capital classic race packets. They bowled a few games and hand some lunch and of course hit up the arcade. |
she actually got an animal from the claw |
Bella was not so lucky unfortunately |
she did kill it on the zombie shooting game however |
we took Rachel to a birthday and had a few hours to kill. It was just Louis and I so we cruised around the village. I went to Sur la Table, which is my idea of heaven and then the Its Sugar for him to get some gummies, which is HIS idea of heaven, and then to Lush and Charming Charlies. I love taking baths and couldn't resist this lavender bath bomb that went by the name of French Kiss. All hand made in Canada. Loved it! |
