First and foremost, thank you to everyone who helped and was part of this big day. Thanks for all the calls, texts and messages congratulating us on our big news. We are so happy and cant wait 'till the big day! :)
Here's the story of our proposal:
We went to Chester on Wednesday to stay with his parents for five days. On Thursday we went out and about all day and then it was time for dinner. His mother was making spaghetti and it needed some time for the sauce to simmer, so he suggested we gather the three girls up and take them to St.Anthony to one of our all time favorite parks.
We got there and everyone was playing- Rachel and Bella on the merry-go-round, Zoe and me on the swings, and him just pushing the girls on the merry-go-round and taking pictures of us on the swings and stuff.
He told me he needed to go check the car to see if something was in there so he went over there and I started walking around with the girls.
He came back from the car and said, "I want the girls to get a picture of us,"
We were over by a huge tree, so he gave the camera to one of the girls and I turned around and there he was with my ring. I was SHOCKED. I had no idea. He wasn't acting stressed or nervous, overly affectionate or anything. Most of the time, women say they knew it was coming because he was acting strange in one way or another. Louis was calm, cool and collected. When I mentioned it to him, his exact response was... "yea baby I know....I'm a pimp..." :)
Anyways, he then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
We looked over and Bella and Rachel were messing around with the camera, trying to figure out who was going to take the picture and Zoe was bawling because we wouldn't let her go swing so they were oblivious to what was going on. Once we got all their focus and got them to pay attention to what was going on, they were ECSTATIC.
The day was made even more special when he pulled out a ring on a necklace for each girl and got down on one knee to each of them and asked them to be in our family. It was honestly the most tender, thoughtful, and amazing thing I could have ever asked for. He did an amazing job and it was better than anything I could have ever dreamed.
