I don't know where this dish got its name, but it doesn't matter its delicious!! Hashbrowns, cheese, lots of yummy goodness...mmhmmm!!
Ingredients:
2 lbs frozen hashbrowns *my store doesnt carry uquite 2 lb packages, so i just buy one large and its good enough
1/2 c butter
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 pint sour cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 c chopped onion
2 c shredded cheddar cheese
1 1/2 c crushed corn flakes
4 tablespoons butter, melted
Directions:
Saute onion in 1 tbsp butter until translucent
Mix all ingredients except cornflakes and 4 tbsp melted butter together.
put potato mixture in greased 9x13 baking pan
combine cornflakes and melted butter and sprinkle on top
bake at 350 for 40-50 minutes until hot and bubbly and golden brown
