Since we did not have a big wedding party, we didnt really need a 'rehearsal' dinner in the traditional sense of the word. We opted, instead, for a large family dinner. We wanted it to be low key and a time to spend with certain people.
We did do a rehearsal with the officiant just at our home, so the girls knew what to expect. They were all a bit nervous, so it really helped calm their little nerves. Plus, it helped to clarify a few last minute little things that you fail to think of prior to the big day! :)
After we ran through the ceremony we met my parents, Louis' parents and his sister and her three daughters at Louie's for a big Italian family dinner.
The food was great, the company was even better. It was a good time had by all!
