I couldn't help myself....with the title of the post....I think I'm clever :) Well, say it three times fast and you've got the tongue twister!
Bella has always been in one sport or another for almost her entire life. We started her first with swimming and then soccer and then basketball.
She did competitive soccer a year ago and hated it. They made it way too intense. They were treating these 9 year old girls like they were training for the Olympics..like to the point of thinking soccer took precedence over school....ugh, no, I don't think so. Anyways, when she decided she didnt want to do that anymore but wanted to focus her energies on basketball I was A ok with that!
So this year we are doing competitive basketball. She has always played Y ball before so this is now the AAU league which you try out for and are placed on teams according to the high school you will attend and skill level. These AAU teams are considered "feeder teams" into the high school teams and once on a team that is where you stay up until high school ball.
Bella tried out and was fortunate enough to be invited to the VARSITY Boise High Braves team!!! YAY! Go BELLA!! This is such an honor in so many ways, but namely the coach- is probably hands down one of the best in the valley, and that is no joke. Second, the Boise high team is, without a shadow of a doubt, one of the best, if not the best, in the valley for high school ball and they do not choose just anyone to be on this team. We are super proud of her and she is really raising to the challenge. She is working hard and putting in lots of effort and is doing awesome. AND one more shout out to the Boise High Varsity AAU girls fifth grade team....at this point we are ranked NUMBER ONE in the valley and are UNDEFEATED!! Go Braves!!!!!
Here are a few pictures from her first couple games and a couple random shots from her coach.
p.s. I'll apologize now for the quality of the majority of the pictures. They are taken with my phone, which is an iphone 7, so it has a decent camera, but between the action shots ;) and my lame photo abilities and being cropped to zoom in to see B better....the results may leave a little to be desired in photo quality

Bella is not very big. As a matter of fact, she is almost always the smallest on the court, but this kid is FAST and has a hell of a shot if I do say so myself |
