So I'm not really into product plugs.....some things work- some things don't. Hopefully you got what you paid for but not always, right?!?!
Well, when I first met Louis he had several iRobot products- the Roomba, the scuba, and even one that was a gutter luge. I eventually told him to get rid of them- I'm old fashioned in a way. Those products were 'useless' technology to me. I mean, how lazy do you have to be to not clean your own floors?
Well let me tell ya......I was wrong...so, so wrong.
Finally, being four weeks away from giving birth and having a golden retriever that sheds nonstop- I broke down and let my husband buy me one.
It is probably the best thing ever. Seriously.
As I sit here and type, Jeeves is behind me working frantically. Collecting dog hair, the inevitable stuffing from dog toys, grass that has been drug in from outside and God only knows what else. He cruises around my living room/dining room/kitchen and hall space for an hour and then when he is out of charge, he finds his charging station and goes and charges himself. I have him programmed to cruise through the house overnight as well, so we wake up every morning to freshly cleaned floors.
It really is nice for our house because it is all one story and it has no problem going from carpet to the hardwood or tile floor and seriously....it's kinda fun to watch.
So, if you have ever considered getting one, but have been on the fence about whether they were worth it or not, believe me they are- and that is coming from someone who is hyperactive and enjoys cleaning.....so if cleaning isn't your thing, then this dude is totally for you!
