Chester 2020, Part II

Friday and Saturday were spent with grandma and grandpa just visiting and relaxing.  We did take a few minutes to ourselves here and there to go scavenging and to run to the store for a few things.  It was so nice to get to run a few errands together without the baby.
Heading out to some of the deserted farms to look for old rusted farm equipment and stuff to put in our front yard.

We decided this old delapidated barn was a good place to start!

They built a new Arctic Circle in St.Anthony, so we grabbed a few burgers and went back to the park where we got engaged.

Tatum is almost as big as Grandma P

We went for a little walk down in the pastures behind the house.

The sun was in our eyes...pardon the stupid look on my face

Mazz was such a good girl the whole trip!

We all went out to lunch on Saturday in St.Anthony to a little place called Crissy's

I ordered a 3 chicken strip basket.  My husbands hands are huge.  This 'strip' was literally the size of his hand almost...they were like chicken breasts

After lunch we took a quick drive to Warm River.  We like to throw leftover french fries in the water for the fish! They love them. Unfortunately, this year, there were hardly any fish.

Our good friends Josh and Kate watched the Kraken and bully while were gone.  They have a husky and an english bulldog.  Their hands were full, but there was plenty of this going on!

Chester 2020, Part I

Despite, and in part, due to Covid-19, we decided we HAD to get out of town.  With Grandma and Grandpa P down at their summer house in SE Idaho, we had the perfect opportunity!
As most of you know, Grandma and Grandpa P spend most of their time down in the Long Beach area during the majority of the year, but come to Idaho in the crazier summer months.  It worked out nicely to be able to jump in the car one afternoon and we were there by dinner time.
It was so nice to have a low key couple of days!

Ready to hit the road. Tatum and Mazzy are stoked!

Winskie was asleep before we even managed to get out of Boise.

His very first Happy Meal! A childhood milestone for sure! :)

Fat girl Roo got a cheeseburger too

Woke up to enjoy his fries!

.....and back asleep, unfinished fries left between legs for later!
