We decided to makeover the second bathroom into one for the boys. It was very feminine: pinks and corals, flowers and such and since none of the girls live here exclusively and are always coming and going regardless, it just seemed logical to decorate more themed to the ones who were going to be using it the most.
We didn't do anything crazy of course- no major remodeling. We changed the theme, paint colors and decorations. The only 'structural' change if you will, was the 6in baseboards. We discussed having the floors tiled, but decided to wait until we re-did the rest of the house.
We found this theme at good ole wal-mart.com
I like sets that have coordinating accessories, which this one does. Plus, I liked the colors and such. It's easy to coordinate other decorations with and was cute and designed for a child without being cartoonish or 'babyish' if you will.
Found these arrows on amazon. Figured they'd be easy enough to paint to coordinate with the shower curtain and such. |
Doesn't that all look fun?! |
If you remember, this is what the walls looked like- a coral wall and the rest just the same color as the rest of the house. |
Changed that pink wall to an avocado green color. |
Painted the rest of the walls a color they called khaki moss. |
We had to change all of the decorations of course! |
The wooden arrows, after they've been painted to match the decor. |
I found these cute tree branch hangers on Amazon |
a cute fox scentsy burner |
I was able to find these woodland themed towels that were able to be personalized. Tatum got a fox towel. |
Jack got a raccoon |
