Oregon coast IV- Whale Watching and Newport Bay Front

Saturday was our last day on the Coast. We headed over to Depoe Bay and nana and papa took the girls on a charter to go whale watching. I decided I didn't want to go because when I was in Alaska and went on a similar thing, I got sick as a dog, so Louis and I opted out.  While they were out on the open seas Louis and I went back to Newport and headed down to the Bay Front to do some shopping. That night after dinner we packed up all our s'more goods and headed down to the beach. louis built a fire and we all had a super good time. It was the perfect way to end a really good trip!!

The boat they took out to whale watch. Unfortunately they didn't see anything, but they all had a blast anyways.

Rocky Point, a little place about halfway between Depoe Bay and Newport

I think this looks like Scotland or England or somewhere- gray and damp with fog rolling in...pretty

These sealions just hang out year 'round in Newport. They're loud and stink, but who can resist 'em? :)

Waiting for our food at the Rogue River Brew pub....don't waster your time if you go- service and food were horrible...obviously this picture was prior to our bad experience

Getting the fire started...he did an amazing job!! :)

You can always tell when nana was taking the picture....hence the finger in the photo
