This is Louis' absolute favorite Christmas candy. His mother gave me the recipe and now I get to make it for him by the tub full!!
I have seen similar recipes by the name of avalanche bark. That recipe does not contain peanuts and her recipe contains no chcoloate...at our house we like both chocolate and peanuts in ours!!
Ingredients:
2 lbs white chocolate or vanilla melting squares
1 cup creamy peanut butter
3 cups rice krispies
1-2 cups salted peanuts
2 cups mini marshmallows
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
Directions:
In double boiler melt chocolate, add peanut butter and mix until smooth and creamy
in the mean time combine rice krisipes and peanuts in large bowl
pour melter chocolate mixture over cereal mixture,combine
let cool to room temperature
stir in marshmallows and mini chocolate chips
pour mixture into 10x15 or 9x13 lined wit wax paper
let cool, cut into pieces
