2015 in Review

Happy New Year's everyone.  I don't know about you guys, but I am totally stoked for 2016.  I know it is going to be amazing.  I have set forth some really great goals for myself as well as for our family collectively.  I've got a couple resolutions I'm working on that I'm pretty excited about as well. Nothing major, just some personal growth type things I would like to work on.

Anyways, without further adieu here is our 2015 in a nutshell!!

January:
January was, and is, always very uneventful for us.  The girls went back to school after two weeks off for Christmas break.  Really, this was about the only exciting thing in January.

February:
Another fairly boring month.  Louis and I celebrated Valentines Day together and went out to dinner at Jakers steakhouse.  The girls got little goody bags.  Bella was participating in YMCA basketball.   My sister and her son Isaiah moved here for about 3 weeks before moving back to Illinois.  Bella continued to ski up at Bogus.

March:
The third was Zo's 7th birthday. We celebrated that day by taking her to lunch and then having a little family party at home.  The following weekend we had a birthday party at our house with 8 of her very  best friends.

The 14th was Bella's 9th birthday.  We also took her out to lunch on the day of her birthday and had a family party for her, but she opted to have her friend party at Ceramica this year.  Unfortunately, it was the week of spring break so most of her friends were out of town, but we had fun regardless.
For Spring Break, the girls did a basketball camp and then we just spent the afternoons just hanging out and doing things around town and spending time together.

Louis had to go to Wisconsin and Illinois for work. He was only gone for three days, but I always hate it when he is gone.

April:
Easter was in April this year.  We were lucky enough to have all three girls. We had our traditional Easter morning themed breakfast.  Then headed over to nana and papa's house for an easter egg hunt and dinner.

I turned 31 on the 20th.  I can now officially say I am in my 30's. Before it was just, I'm 30, but now, in my 30's.

May:
There was very little exciting activity in May.

We celebrated Mother's Day on Saturday before Mother's Day because I had to work.

Zoe started gymnastics.

June:
The girls finished up their last days of 1st, 3rd, and 4th grade.  It's so hard to think I have official 2nd and 4th graders now.  Rachel will be in 5th...unbelievable!

The girls went to San Francisco for a week with their dad.

We celebrated Father's Day by taking Louis out to breakfast and then over to nana and papa's house to celebrate with papa too.

July:
On the 4th, Bella went to Idaho City with her dad and his girlfriend.  Zoe stayed with us and we went to the parade and then to a BBQ at friends  house.

All five of us went to Seattle for four days.  Our trip included Pike Place and the Seattle Water Front, the Space Needle,  The Aquarium, and of course the 1D concert. A great time was had by all.

We finally settled on a new house in a better neighborhood for the girls.  The other neighborhood wasn't bad, but there was no room for them to ride bikes or anything like that so, it was time to say bye felicia! :)

August:
We went to Chester for 5 days to visit Louis' parents. Our trip included Yellow Stone, prepared pantry, Idaho falls.

Louis Proposed.  After four years of loving devotion, we set a wedding date of 10/22/16 :)

I left the Broadway clinic after three years and accepted a position as the lead tech at the Overland clinic.

We moved into our new house.

The girls all had their official first day of school!!

September:
Lots of wedding planning.

Rachel turned 10!!

Louis' parents came to visit for 3 days.

I officially started my new position.

Bella started competitive soccer. She was one of 20 girls of 115 who tried out who were accepted onto the competitive team.

October:
We celebrated our 4th anniversary.

Halloween!

November:
I took the girls to Portland for three days.

We had an early Thanksgiving.

The girls went to Tahoe for five days with their dad.

December:
We celebrated Louis' 40th birthday.

Christmas!
