It's funny, this time last year, I was elbow deep in wedding planning...whew, I'm glad that is over...
Anyways. as I was saying, the summer is coming near so the plans have started flying. I'm sure the list will be adjusted slightly as we go, but for now, this is what the summer looks like:
- Last day of school is June second
- The following week we go to SLC/LAGOON for 5 days
- The day after we get back Louis goes to N.C. for a week.
- Father's Day is the day after he gets back
- We're all home for two weeks
- Girls leave for a week in McCall with my parents
- Rachel goes to the Oregon Coast with her mom for a week, at the same time the girls are in McCall
- Home for a week.
- We all go to Chester/Yellowstone for a week.
- We're home for a week
- The girls go on a cruise around Mexico for a week
- We all leave for McCall for a week the day after the girls get home from Mexico
- School starts August 22nd, the Tuesday after we return home from McCall
Louis and I are going to try to squeeze in a trip to Vegas somewhere, probably closer to September or October. We also wanted to try to go somewhere for our one year anniversary, but it depends on what's going on with buying a house. Plus, the girls dad and step mom are going to Bali for 2-3 weeks in October so we might push our anniversary trip back...like a year... :) just joking, but maybe, really....
So, there ya have the summer in a nutshell. We're looking forward to some great time spent with family and friends.
