Salt Lake City 2017, Part II

Day 2 led us directly to Lagoon.  We were hoping by going in the middle of the week that the lines would be small....we were not wrong.  It was awesome!!  As a matter of fact, the lines were so short, the longest we had to wait to get on a ride was MAYBE 10 minutes.  MAYBE.  And that wait was for their newest ride called the Canibal....holy cow.....that ride rocked my socks...that and Wicked were INSANE.  Of course the girls didn't go on those, but Louis and I did....so cool!

We had actually intended on opening and closing the park- ya know with places like Dinsey Land/World, it's so expensive to get in, and the lines are typically so long, I feel like we have to open/close the park to really see all that you want and really get your money's worth. There is always a ton of super cool stuff to see and do, and you could probably spend 2-3 days there and still feel like there were things to see!

At Lagoon, we had all had our fill of rides and fun by about 4 pm.  We got there right at 10:30, parked right in front and got our game plan on.  As mentioned before there were seriously no lines- basically as soon as you ran up, if you weren't put right on the ride, you were put on the next 'car'. So we rode probably 20-30 rides in 7 hours. It was almost 100 degrees outside and we had decided already against going in Laguna Beach, the water area.  Obviously, there is not nearly as many attractions/shows worth seeing as places like Disney or even Six Flags, so everyone was ready to go. We went back to the hotel, let the girls swim for a couple hours and then went and stuffed ourselves at Olive Garden.

It was so much fun. It's so close to us and so easy to get there, and really economical in the scheme of things, it would be fun to make an annual thing- the week after school gets out, just take the little demons down there for a few days!
Getting ready to go! Everyone is super excited!

Waiting at the rope- you can park and enter the park 30 minutes prior to the rides opening.  The just rope it off- we sat there trying to decide which ride to ride first.....we rode the BAT first. :)

holding on the first go 'round......

Zo got those arms up the second go 'round

Getting ready to rock the swinging pirate ship ride together as a family

The swings.  Louis and I agreed- these may be the scariest things we went on..it's a different kind of fear...

Rachel, Bella and I are quite perplexed by this peacock apparently!

Zo on the other hand was fascinated. What beautiful birds. :)

Checking out things in Pioneer Village

Dinner at Olive Garden. *sorry out of place here. This was the last picture from Louis' phone.

This was Zo's favorite ride hands down. They must have taken her on it 5-6 times.
