Pickin' peaches out in Caldwell at the orchards

We had a great time.  Bella was backpacking in Stanley with her dad, so it was just the four of us- we can't wait to go back in a few week with B to pick apples.

Here we go......

Little dweeb was sooooo excited!!!  Before....

During......

...and after!!!  I was amazed at the process these days- when I had braces 20 years ago (yikes!!!) it was an ordeal to get them on- molds of teeth, spacers, etc, etc...at least a 2-3 week process. Now, it literally took about 60 minutes start to finish.  No more molds, just pictures and computer graphing- they literally took x-rays and immediately starting placing brackets. We're hoping to have them off in about 2 years, but her bite needs some severe correcting, we are going to try a bit slower, more conservative approach, mostly for aesthetics and her self esteem, but if it doesn't work like they hope, we will have to do some sort of head gear type affair I guess.

A couple weeks ago Louis and I went down into Garden City along the river to look at some houses.  I was shocked with what they did back there.  Its super awesome, plus they're building another Luciano's, only the BEST Italian restaurant in town, right there. An area I never thought to consider blew my mind.  Anyways, we decided to have dinner at the Stagecoach Inn, a Boise icon and the best prime rib!!!

Sorry for the grainy picutre.  My POS phone doesn't do very well in dark places.

Look how long my hair is getting!!

Bella testing for her yellow belt in Taekwondo

My handsome husband made me a surprise dinner!!! I took the girls up to McCall and came home to this!!!

He did it all by himself and it was to die for!!!  I was so proud of him!

I don't know if you have kids if they're into the whole making slime thing, but our three are like CRAZY into it. I found these kits at walmart and couldnt resist! They had a blast!!
I bought the girls a Rachel Ray kids cookbook.  Zoe decided to make dinner, all by herself, out of it.  She did an amazing job.  She made spaghetti and meatball 'stoup' which is thicker than soup but thinner than stew according to the book!! :)

making her meatballs

The next day Bella decided to jump on the bandwagon and decided to make homemade copycat Starbucks Vanilla biscotti...OMG!!! they were awesome!

I have more picutres but they're on Louis' phone...they looked amazing- she dipped the bottom in chocolate...she could have wrapped them up and sold them! :)

Getting to dig into some teriyaki

Zo playing minecraft on the wide monitor, and yes she has a closet full of clothes...I just noticed she is literally wearing this exact tank top in almost every picture....weird

I got this little hummingbird feeder at the dollar store, not really expecting to draw the attention of any...but as you can see, we have a visitor!!! Little did I know it would be such a hit- there's constant traffic of hummers, and they're quite territorial so you constantly see them chasing each other off and hear  them chattering.  It's super cool
