On Friday we left bright and early at 6 am!!! I was up at five trying to get everything ready and the car gassed up and all that good stuff. By the time I accomplished that and got them in the car and on the road it was a little after 6, but still pretty darn close to my hoped for 6:00 take off time.
We stopped for gas once and then we stopped in The Dalles and ate lunch at Burgerville on the way in. We had planned on stopping at Multnomah Falls as well, but it was pouring down the rain and none of us really wanted to venture out into that. Maybe next time!!
Anyways, we made awesome time, and didn't waste a minute getting things done- we didn't even check into the hotel first, we shopped, shopped, and shopped more. I wont bore you with all the details but long story short, 5 hours and 1000$ later, the girls we set up and stocked with all sorts of stuff!!
After we left the mall we headed over to our hotel, checked in, took all of our bags up stairs and started checking out the haul! After we settled for a while and got freshened up we headed out to The Old Spaghetti Factory for some dinner and then after dinner, you guessed it, we headed out for one more shopping stop. I never thought I'd say this, but by 11 pm on Friday night, I was so shopped out that I didn't care if I ever stepped foot in another mall, target, old navy or anything else ever again. It was nice to be able to just mark everything off the list though, they are both set up for winter- Uggs, pants, puffy vests, shirts, undies, camis, socks, etc, etc. They're ready!
