The exterior of our house- minus the landscaping of course, is basically 100% complete I believe. The exterior stone work turned out beautifully and I'm so happy for the way all the colors have come together so far. The swatches you have to choose from are like 2x2, so you get a vague...
very vague idea of how it will look, but it looks awesome and we are super happy with it.
Interior wise- it is rockin' and rollin'- coming together incredibly fast. We were in there on Saturday and at that time the walls had been textured and painted, base boards and wood wrapping complete, closet inserts put in, tile entry put in, back splash around master tub complete, tile in master shower put in, tile work around the fire place put in and cupboards and vinyl delivered. So it has been a couple days so I wouldn't be surprised if that stuff had already been started. It looks a-mah-zing. It takes my breath away every time I go in there. I'm so grateful, it's exactly what we wanted and it's turning out exactly how we had hoped.
PLUS, on another awesome note, we received our initial closing disclosure documents last week and our estimated cash out of pocket to close is coming in almost
$3500.00 less than we had anticipated. It was great news! As I mentioned earlier, our rate had gone up a small amount from the estimate- raising our monthly payment about $20, not a huge deal, but however it worked out, it gave us like an $1100.00 credit towards closing. Plus, some other figures we were originally given were way over estimated apparently, so it was just really good news. :)
But for the best part for you guys- pictures!! These are in chronological order, from a 2 week period.

The stone work- the first time I had seen it. |

Hardware on the garage. I love little touches like this. |

The wood work around the fireplace! I was stoked to see this. These types of things make your house come alive. |

Rachel loving all the natural light that comes in the back of the house. |

We got exterior lamps! :) |

And the interior has finally been painted. This interior color is awesome. It's what they're calling a "greige" basically a grayish beige color. Some light it looks more gray, others more beige. It's nice. I really like it. |

The window seat in Zoe's room |

Tile in master shower. I love how they took it floor to ceiling. So often you see that it only goes like 80% of the way up- I don't like that. |
