Bella's last day of first grade and Zoe's preschool graduation.

It was a big day for us!!! First it was Bella's last day of first grade!!! WOOHOO she made it. She did really great and we are all so super proud of her. It was an early release of course, so I picked her up and we headed to Goody's to get a HUGE banana split to share...it was delicious.

opening present given for the last day of school. Bella got a pirates chest full of dress up pirate gear, trasure maps, eye patches, and all sorts of stuff....she loved it!! Zoe got some Barbie stuff, she was being a pill and opened her stuff in the closet, so I didn't bother even trying to take pictures of that.

Puddin'......

BIG oops....

I have made a big oopsie and have completely been a ditz and have over looked something and some one VERY important. On my Mother's Day post, I was writing it and putting it together over a period of time and after lots of things happening and completely forgot to mention Bev, Louis' mom. She is awesome- I have never met anyone so kind hearted and thoughtful. There is not a holiday or birthday that goes by that she forgets. Her and Jim have taken Bella and Zoe in totally and have accepted them and just added them to the "brood." We are fortunate to have her, and we look forward to so many more awesome memories with not only her but Jim as well.

On Mother's Day she was super sweet and sent a card and a hand made bag 'sock' for me- which I needed desperately, and they sent a bracelet for each of the ladies. I meant to take a picture of the sock to share, but of course forgot...shocking, I know. Anyways, it meant a lot that she thought of us.

Happy Mother's Day Bev. We love you and appreciate you and everything you do!

Babby's Farms

Yesterday we loaded up all of the girls and took the thirty minute trek out to Caldwell to visit a newly opened place called Babby's Farms. It was literally in the middle of no where, and the girls were perplexed where we were going, but it did NOT disappoint. It has been opened since either '01 or '03, but it just opened to the public on May first of this year. It was amazing. It has all sorts of exotic type animals: sloths, zebras, camels, zedonks, yaks, kangaroos, and a TON of others. The thing that is amazing is that you can literally get IN THE PENS that some of these animals are kept in and you can FEED and PET them. When in your life did most of you ever think you'd get the chance to pet and hand feed a kangaroo? AMAZING!!!! And the price is super reasonable. We paid 42 dollars and that included admission for 2 adults, 3 kids, 3 pony rides, and 5 bags of food to feed the animals. Anyways, it was a blast, and I HIGHLY recommend it to not only people with kids, but really anyone. Here is the link to their website: Babby's Farm

PICTURES COMING SOON.....just need to combine louis' and mine and go through them. Hopefully tonight!!!!!

****here are SOME of the pictures, the ones of my phone. I still need to get a bunch from Louis, so check back in a day or so****

The girls checking out a cavy

the little cavy just hanging out

my favorite- a sloth. THey have two, and this guy just sat there, hanging upside down, sleeping the whole time. What an awesome little dude.

This is the other sloth, I believe this one was the female.

All four of my loves lookig at one of my other loves-the sloth

Louis feeding a yak

The girls feeding Sika deer. All the girls liked them, but Rachel loved these little guys.

A zebra and a zedonk ( half zebra, half donkey- at the right)

nothing like being photobombed by a zebra

The other pictures you see of camels are of one humped camels, these are thetwo humped ones. They were HUGE. I don't think I've ever seen a camel in real life and was shocked at how big these guys were.

This otter was awesome. He thought he wasa person. He followed us all around his little water area. After we walked away, he went to the corner, got one his back legs, and cried. It was awesome.

Louis and either a wallaby or wallaroo. I think this picture lookslike he could be in Australia, just hanging  out with this guy and petting him. What an awesome experience.
