I had the most amazing Mother's Day ever!!! Thanks so much to my handsome lover and our ladies for making it so awesome. On Saturday we got Rachel for the day, so we started with a fantastic breakfast....one thatI'm going to share with all of you- so get prepared for an AWESOME idea! drum roll please......Cinnamon roll waffles. Yes folks that's right...grab some canned cinnamon rolls at the grocery store, heat up your waffle iron and cook those bad boys just like you would a waffle. They are AWESOME. We let the girls have the frosting as well as syrup so they could have the waffle any way they wanted them. They were super impresssed. My lover found the idea for me...thanks sugar!
After breakfast, I got cleaned up and was getting ready to head out when Louis came in and got me and told me I was needed in the living room. I went out there and all there of the ladies were waiting with a mother's day card that they had all created madly for me. It was awesome...I love to see all their creativity and what they all come up with. Pills. :)
We took the girls to my moms house and dropped them off. Jason was there with Nan to have a small celebration with her. Rachel asked to stay so of course we let her. We took advantage of the down time and went to hyde park to have lunch. We went to Harry's and sat on the patio and had some lunch. After that we went home and took a nap...yup we are THAT old. :)
On Mother's Day Rachel was with her mom of course so it was me and Louis and Bella and Zoe. The girls played outside a little bit and then we went to McDonald's grabbed a quick a lunch and then headed to the park to play a little bit.
After that we went to my moms house and had a BBQ. It was great!! Thanks so much for everyone's efforts that went in to making this Mother's Day the best ever. AND a shout out to MY mom. She is awesome. Understanding and compassionate, caring, and always there when you need her. She has been there for me through my worst and my best times, and I couldn't love anyone more than I love my mom.
