Fairy Gardens

My friend Britney at work has two daughters  that are pretty much the same ages as our girls, so we end up doing a lot of the same things or having similar interests. A few weeks ago, on Facebook, she posted some pictures of these fairy gardens her daughters had made, and instantly, I was all over them. They were adorable. Pots with flowers and miniature furniture and a fairy? What's not to love. I went home and told Louis about them, and we decided we were going to make them with our girls. The plan is to make three- each of them make one, and we would keep one here, give one to my mom and then one to Rachel's mom as Mother's Day presents. Perfect! Unfortunately, timing didn't work out where all three of the girls got to make them together, but they all had fun none the less. It definitely would have been better if we could have done it with all of them though.

ANYWAYS, here are some pictures for you guys to check out!

Shopping at Craft Warehouse for all of our goods for the gardens. We tried Hobby Lobby but they didn't have ANYTHING. Luckily, Craft Warehouse haad all sorts of stuff, so we lucked out. My friend Britney lives in Nampa and she got her stuff at Greenhurst nursey, BUT her grandma said that Far West Nursey om State Street has a bunch too.

All the makings of a garden- table and chair set, toadstool, fairy, bucket, shovel and path stones

Our flowers- snap dragons, petunias and vincas.

poor zoe has a little rash on her face. darn it. obviously she is still in good spirits though.

Peek a Boo!! Rachel and Louis made her garden together while the girls were with their dad and I was at work. I think they did a great job. Hopefully Heather likes it for her Mother's Day gift from Miss Rachel.
