Happy Mothers Day to all you mother's out there. It is not an easy task, but the little monsters most definitely make it all worth while. I had a really nice day today and would like to say thanks and I love you to my sweet lover for all his hard work. Also to my pops- thanks for the delicious meal. Thanks also to Jim and Bev for the card and for all the rest who sent text and facebook messages, thank you as well. Of course, I have to send a shout out to my mom, who has dealt with me for 32 years...she is a strong and brave woman. :) I love ya mama. Also Happy Mother's Day to Bev, Louis' mother, she is great and we hope she had a good Mother's Day.
We went out to breakfast at IHOP. I threw around a few different ideas before settling on IHOP. First, I like them. Second, they're used to dealing with a crowd. Third, they had their regular menu and not a brunch or buffet menu. It's close to our house, within reason, at least, and they did awesome. We were in and out in about an hour. The food and service were both good. So, kudos to IHOP for not being lame on Mother's Day.
Afterwards we came home and chilled for a few and then went to my mom and dad's house and had a BBQ there. The weather was nice. The company was nice. It was a nice day.

The girls brought me coffee and their cards in to bed....I was getting up and getting ready to get in the shower but had to hop back in bed really fast so they didn't know I was up... |

I got the cutest cards and poems from the girls. |
