Cake Time

I made another pretty simple little daisy cake the other day. I took two days to make it, then I cut it open to make sure it looked right inside and then tossed it. I don't really like cake. Plus cake covered in fondant is gross unless you peel the fondant off...at least I think so. PLUS we already have a ton of goodies around our house still from the holidays. So needless to say, I was completely wasteful and made a cake to throw away. It kept me entertained though, which kept me out of louis' hair, wihch kept him happy and me out of trouble. :) I finally got smart after this one though and ordered a set of cake dummies. That way I can decorate all I want and not have to go through the hassel of baking a cake to throw away.
Black and pink flowers. My phone sucks at taking pictures. Its been dropped one too many times I think. :( Anyways, the colors dont look as nice as they do in 'real' life.

I poked the top of the cake with one of the flowers..lame

Spoiled Rotten....

I got what I always wanted for Christmas this year...my new industrial kitchen aid mixer. This sucker is a beast. It makes fondant and all sorts of ooey gooey stuff that is almost impossible to make without a high power stand mixer. Thanks lover of mine. I also got the new Uggs with the bows in the back. Yup. Love them!! I hated the regular Uggs that were just brown and didn't have any shape or personality to them, but these are black and have bows and are so super cute!!

My sweet, handsome lover got a new mac book pro so he had to get a bunch of accessories to go with that. He got a henge dock, magic track pad, and plug bug. He was pleased.

Merry Christmas to us and to you all, and to all and good year! ;)

Family Photos

So we had our family photos done in October, and I only had a chance to get the previews posted. Here is the rest of them

Christmas

I was up at 5:50 Christmas morning, making breakfast and getting things ready. The heathens were up shortly thereafter around 6ish. I made them wait until everyone got there to open their presents, but I did give in and let them open one. Santa brought them some books, so I let them open those in hopes  that it would keep them entertained for a bit. About 5 minutes. :)

Finally everyone got there around 8:30 and they started to open their gifts. Their dad came over so we just had basically one big Christmas.

Zo got a My Little Ponies Equestria girls barbie and a really nice scarf from grandma and grandpa p

Bella got some one direction stuff and a scarf from grandma and grandpa p

Santa brought them all their own tablet for Christmas. Quite the hit.

We opted out of gorging ourselves for Christmas this year. We had a decent brunch feast if you will and then just finger foods and  that kind of stuff the rest of the day.

My mom knitted me this rocking sweater. Love it!

Papa

Merry Christmas lover of mine.

Christmas Eve

I had to work Christmas Eve, but was off at five. We headed to my moms and had soup and bread and opened a few presents.

Rachel got a monster high doll and Bella got a remote control car

Zoe got a puppy in a purse

They both got new North Face snow boots from nana and papa

and new watches from their dad

time to open their santa boxes from me and Louis. They contained new jammies, mugs for hot cocoa, Christmas movie and a book/activity pad to help ease them to sleep on such an exciting night!!
