2017 Photo Dump X

Probably the last random photo upload for 2017!  Here we go-

At the beginning of December, the girls' dad, Jason, went to Dubai and India for a few weeks.  His wife Shellee, asked if she could have a girls night with Bella and Zoe while he was gone, and of course that was just fine.  She took them to Winter Garden-a-Glow, and dinner and was nice enough to send me a few pictures.

taking selfies of myself in the car and then playing with filters on them

taking the dog for a walk on Thanksgiving

our Thanksgiving evening consisted of eating homemade mac'n'cheese, version 2, and playing a board game called Mr.Jack- Louis and I love going to the game store and buying random games we've never seen or played before.

waiting for her pie

unsure if she gets to eat it or not...

proof that dad loves roo!

this came from the girls dad- apparently this is what he woke up to at 6 am- Zoe trying to clean putty off her hands...she looks unhappy!

I was sitting in this chair literally 1 minute prior to this picture being taken....then I was outed by a 90 lb black lab who decided SHE wanted to sit there instead

bad bad dog!

Bella sparring in taekwondo

nuhnuhnuhnuhnuhnuh...bat dog

Bella playing with Henri

my lover brought me home some flowers

Bella receiving her camo belt in taekwondo

getting some cheese sticks and milkshakes at sonic

Zoe's hiphop dance class performed the cutest dance to Jingle Bells by Flo Rida

she is quite good and many of the girls look to her to follow during the routine

This is the most I could pull myself together to do this year-  I made Christmas popcorn for a few people- very few and only because I had to.

It is really good though, so maybe I was forgiven by a few people.  We are building a house, with a close date one month after Christmas- making it through the holidays with three tween girls was the most we could manage! :)

the choir trip

Zo and Stelly Stell.  I love this kid- and her family.  Her entire family including her parents and grandparents are just phenomenal people.  Her grandparents have virtually taken Zoe in as their adopted granddaughter and spoil her rotten just like they do Stella....like to the point of Zoe having a room at their house.  They live in The Afton, a very, VERY nice condo unit downtown Boise and are always going to big fancy dinners ( Grandpa is well known around theses parts- he is the Drake part of the advertising agency Drake Cooper) so Zoe loves going and since Stella is an only child- where Stella goes, Zoe goes.

on the bus for the choir tour

this tree made out of poinsettias was in the capitol rotunda. I thought it was pretty

Culvers! :)

Rachel got glasses and looks super cute in them!

Bella fried this egg all by herself.  I was proud!

I laughed and laughed at this- Zoe's ipod is disabled, but not to worry, she can try again in 47 years- over 25 million minutes!

more cheese sticks....

i love this kid to death

and this one too!

then I decided to make tamales....it's like a 5 hour process and I swear I will never do it again

Bella playing in the snow- all of this in one night

hot chocolate

Zoe ducking- she has far too few clothes on and I told her to get out of the picture with her little half naked body! Rachel, thinks its hilarious :)

Christmas 2017: Post V- Christmas Eve and Christmas day

Bev, Louis' mom, sent the WhirlyPop popcorn maker to me for Christmas and it is awesome. It makes the best popcorn.  Anyways, Rikki, our elf on the shelf always leaves a Christmas bag for the girls and of course, what would Christmas Eve be without homemade cookies?!?! This year we made raisinette and oatmeal chocolate chip.

bad Christmas Eve pup! :)

Bella trying to eat her egg roll with chopsticks....did not go well!

That man right there waited in line at Ghuang Zhou for almost THREE hours to pick up our Chinese food.  Literally 10 minutes after I called and ordered they stopped taking any new customers or orders to go for the rest of the night because they were that busy- I ordered at 5:45 and they were supposed to be open until 9:00 pm.

can hardly stand it....

new jammies and slippers

they will probably get matching jammies for as long as I can get away with it! :)

Christmas morning- we told them they had to wait until 7 to wake us up. They made it until 7:30. :)

Stockings first- she was stoked about some thinking putty

and on to presents.  We were straight up with the girls and told them each they had $150 from us for Christmas and how did they want it? cash, presents or both?  Rachel chose both and the other two chose gifts.

Bella was super psyched about her drone

and Zo was super happy about her bitty baby

They had so much fun. Louis and I got each other nothing this year.  The house is our gift and we are super thankful.

trying to open her present from grandma and grandpa P with her mind powers....they each got a beautiful necklace! They love them! :)

mazzy got a present too

Christmas morning breakfast- crepes

couldn't help but laugh at this- she wanted to take her new bitty baby out "sledding"

hot chocolate!

getting the table ready for our Christmas fondue dinner

we picked Rachel up for a sleepover at 5pm, so they got to open their remaining presents

Dinner time- traditional Swiss fondue with all the typical dippers.

Zoe getting Noelle ready for dinner.

The only picture of dessert- chocolate fondue with all the traditional dippers.

After dessert we all watched Gremlins 2 and ate popcorn!  It was a wonderful day spent together and we couldn't have asked for anything more.  We wish you all a Merry Christmas.
